Pershing Foundation Scholarship
Each year, the Pershing Foundation awards merit based scholarships to deserving high school and undergraduate students. The scholarship recognizes students who have, through their actions and demonstrated commitment to the ideals espoused by General John J. Pershing, established themselves as an example for their peers to emulate. The program rewards students who have established a history of outstanding academic achievement, and who possess exceptional leadership potential as demonstrated through their involvement in the National Society of Pershing Rifles, National Society of Pershing Angels, or National Society of Blackjacks.
The Pershing Foundation Scholarship is open to all active members of the National Societies of Pershing Rifles, Pershing Angels, or Blackjacks regardless of race, creed, national origin, color, age, religion, sex, disability, marital status, or sexual preference. Enrollment in the junior or senior Reserve Officers Training Corps programs of the United States Army, Navy, or Air Force is not required.
For specific eligibility requirements, please refer to either the undergraduate or high school application pages from the menu at the top.

Feedback from the Field
I would like to extend my greatest thanks and appreciation for being chosen as the recipient of the Pershing Rifles Foundation Scholarship. It is with great pride that I accepted this award, not only for myself, but for Company A-2. These funds will help me tremendously with my schooling needs and will be put to good use. I look forward to spending my next two years growing as a cadet and a Pershing Rifleman through the opportunities provided by the national organization, the foundation, and the alumni. Be looking for A-2 in the future, because our best days are yet to come. SCOONEY!
